This painting is part of my last exhibition at the Broken Hill Regional Gallery, titled “Sample”. The idea behind the work was to use paper and foil to evoke a sense of Landscape free from a literal description of representation, time and place. The title “Sample” comes from the process of visiting bushland and recording the colour of the environment reflecting off foil and paper.
